Role Overview
The QA Engineer will join the Product & Engineering team to ensure high-quality delivery of Hugo’s internal platforms and CX solutions. This role will establish scalable testing practices and support fast release cycles.
This individual must be AI-native, automation-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Define test strategy for product features
Build automated testing frameworks
Validate integrations across systems
Support rapid release cycles
Ensure end-to-end feature quality
Partner with engineers on quality standards
Implement CI-based test automation
Perform exploratory testing
Drive quality metrics and reporting
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain automated test suites
Test APIs and frontend applications
Write test plans and test cases
Perform regression testing
Validate data and integration flows
Track and manage defects
Support UAT with stakeholders
Improve release confidence
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years QA engineering experience
Experience testing web applications
Experience testing APIs
Automation experience (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
Understanding of Agile workflows
Experience with bug tracking tools
AI-Native Expectations
Use AI tools for test generation
Experience with AI-assisted test automation
Interest in intelligent testing approaches
Ability to automate repetitive QA workflows
Nice to Have
Performance testing experience
Data validation testing
Experience with CI/CD testing pipelines
BPO or operational tooling exposure
