Admin Manager

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Admin Manager will be the operational backbone of Hugo’s new Cape Town site, ensuring seamless day-to-day administration, compliance, logistics, and site experience for our delivery teams. This person will work closely with Hugo’s central People Operations, IT, and Finance teams in Lagos to ensure the site runs efficiently and in alignment with Hugo's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all office operations, including vendor management, supplies, utilities, and maintenance.
- Support local HR processes — onboarding logistics, attendance tracking, and offboarding coordination.
- Maintain inventory of work tools, equipment, and ensure compliance with asset tracking and security policies.
- Coordinate travel, lodging, and local logistics for visiting staff and clients.
- Serve as the site liaison for facility inspections, health & safety compliance, and local government relations.
- Manage petty cash and expense reconciliations, ensuring alignment with central finance.
- Partner with the Delivery Lead to ensure the site environment supports productivity and culture.
- Act as a point of contact between Cape Town staff and Lagos central teams for HR, IT, and Admin escalations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in office administration, facilities, or operations management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and general IT coordination (ticketing, access management, etc.).
- High attention to detail, reliability, and proactive problem-solving.
- Experience working in fast-paced or BPO environments is an advantage.
