People Operations Lead
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Key Responsibilities:
1. Core HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and employee data management on HRIS. Collaborate with Middle Managers (who manage Entry-level and Junior Professionals) to deliver interventions to Entry-level and Junior Professionals.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee records in compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Administer and audit HRIS systems, partnering with IT and vendors as needed for maintenance and upgrades.
- Oversee or support payroll input, benefits administration, statutory filings, and compliance activities. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders as necessary on compensation and benefits matters.
- Manage HR queries and ticketing queues on Zoho Helpdesk with a service-oriented mindset and commitment to SLAs.
2. Data, Systems & Process Optimization
- Generate and analyze HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline HR processes; provide feedback on tools and systems used by the team.
- Contribute to and maintain high-quality SOPs and knowledge bases to improve scalability and consistency of operations.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects involving employee experience, HRIS enhancements, compliance, and analytics.
- Project Management
- Manage small teams or workstreams to deliver operational outcomes; coach junior staff and model accountability.
- Scope moderately complex projects, apply structured problem-solving frameworks, and track delivery milestones.
- Promote the effective use of AI, data, and digital tools to drive efficiency and innovation in People Operations.
3. Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders, vendors, and senior leaders.
- Adapt communication style based on audience — from technical documentation to executive-ready summaries.
- Participate effectively in meetings, offering input, flagging risks, and seeking timely supervisor guidance where needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, IT, and other teams on key initiatives.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED
Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:
- Quantitative Acumen & Data Analytics: Very strong quantitative acumen and extensive experience with data analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive problem solver who can anticipate and address challenges before they escalate.
- Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Exceptional capacity for making sound judgments in high-pressure environments.
- Clear, unambiguous communicator who is effectively responsive across multiple communication channels.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 4–6 years of HR experience or Administration (where individual is a fast learner)
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Prior experience with HRIS systems and data reporting tools
- Exposure to project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI or automation in HR operations
- HR Certification - SHRM, CIPM or CIPD.
- Masters in HR or Business Administration
